On behalf of the T1.2 Team for “Capacity building for NCPs on pre-screening”, we would like to announce the first capacity building event for Widening NCPs to be held online on June 3rd 2022 between 10:-00 – 15:30 CET.
The purpose of the event will be to set the scene on the pre-screening issue, identify the strengths and challenges of NCPs, provide insights on evaluation criteria and contemplate on important aspects of the future guide.
The event will start with a reflection exercise with participating NCPs and will continue with the different perspectives of 3 three NCPs, namely an NCP from a country that recently joined the Widening group (Greece), an experienced NCP from a previous widening country (Estonia) and last NCP with previous tenure as research manager and administrator (Lithuania).
In the last part, NCPs will be split into three groups and elaborate aspects of Excellence – Impact – Implementation. Our three speakers will moderate the groups.
Conclusions and emerging needs of NCPs will be shared where relevant with leaders of other tasks.
