WIDERAEXPERTS.EU portal has been launched

The wideraexperts.eu is a free-of-charge portal that facilitates the matchmaking of experts with applicants from Widening countries preparing proposals within the Widening, ERA, Pillar II clusters and EIC Pathfinder schemes under the Horizon Europe programme.

The goal of this platform is to ensure the quality of proposals thanks to the feedback that the applicants will receive from the experts. If you are a National Contact Point (NCP) or an Applicant from an eligible country*, or an Expert from any country, we encourage you to register!

For NCPs

As NCP from an eligible country you can use wideraexperts.eu to facilitate the matchmaking process between the applicant and the expert. Your role is to verify, select and match the expert candidate with the applicant based on the information provided during the registration process.

For Applicants

As an Applicant from an eligible country (the proposal coordinator or a work package leader) you can submit your proposal for a professional pre-check through the portal. If you plan to write a project proposal and submit it to one of the calls under Pillar II: Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness, Pillar III: European Innovation Council or Widening participation and strengthening the European Research Area of the Horizon Europe programme, go to wideraexperts.eu and register your proposal. You will be matched with an expert who will give you recommendations on how to improve the quality of your proposal and increase your chances of receiving the funding.

For Experts

If you are an Expert from any country with a high level of expertise in the field that corresponds to Pillar II, Pillar III or Widening participation and strengthening the European Research Area of the Horizon Europe programme and an excellent command of English, go to wideraexperts.eu and create your profile. If your profile is matched with a proposal, you can be offered a paid role (EUR 600 gross) to provide a professional pre-check service for the applicant.
